Announcement:

The Podcast Relational Database Project has begun Phase 2. You can now receive podcast information based on the surveys that have already been taken by clicking here. I am keeping the survey open because I feel the data we have is not a large enough sample. Click here for more information.

Welcome to Podcast Research!

Home of the Podcast Relational Database Project

The Podcast Relational Database Project is an attempt to create a database of what podcasts people listen to. Based on this information we will be able to make suggestions of additional podcasts a person may be interested in based on their listening habits and the preferences of other people who listen to similar podcasts. For example, we may find that 90% of the people who listen to This Week in Tech also listen to Buzz Out Loud. Based on this information we would be able to recommend Buzz Out Loud to listeners of This Week in Tech and vice versa. This is a simplified idea of what we have in mind, but I hope it gets the idea across. For more information, click here

Spread the Word:

The success and value of this project relies on the number of people who take the survey. The more users we have, the higher the value of the database. So, spread the word, and tell at least 3 podcasters or podlisteners about the survey.

Progress:
